We’re excited to announce that we have THREE slots available for new Program Coordinators and applications are now open.
What are the Program Coordinators and what is expected?

If you are interested in applying, it’s fundamental that you are aware that the role requires:
- Time: the amount of activities might be much higher than it looks from the outside; you may expect it to be between two and four hours a day.
- Wisdom: being leaders of a judge program of thousands people requires a high ability in determining the direction for the program.
- Diplomacy: as the Judge Program is a global program, being able to listen to and take into account the needs of different cultures and needs is fundamental.
- Focus on the goals: many decisions must be taken, and it’s necessary to be efficient and effective.
- Teamwork: Program Coordinators form a team, and also collaborate with several other judges; being able to collaborate in a constructive way is mandatory.
- Integrity/honesty: this is one of the main principle of the entire Judge Program, and its leaders should be very clear examples of it.
Applying (and being selected) is the *beginning* of a role, not the *achievement* of a certification or a badge.
By applying, you accept the responsibility of giving a significant contribution to the entire Judge Program.
The name of the applicants will be announced on this blog, just after the end of the application window, before the selection happens.
Anyone will be able to send any significant information about the candidates sending a mail to email@example.com (before sending any message, we encourage you to check with your Regional Coordinator if your message is appropriate and significant).
The full application of each candidate will be shared with all future Program Coordinators.
If you want to apply for the role of Program Coordinator, send a message to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject “PC application – YOUR NAME” before Wednesday January 17th.
In your message, include the following three questions (and your answer).
- “Why should you be a Program Coordinator? Please list your past accomplishments related to the judge program that you believe have prepared you for this role.
- “What would you expect to accomplish in the role? Let us know what you think your task as PC would be.”
- “How do you expect to accomplish it?”
Please also provide 3 recommendations from other Level 3 judges who are not applying for this role or are a part of the selection committee. Level 3 judges recommending you will be free to choose the format and the style for their recommendation. A Level 3 judge may recommend only one applicant.
No more than three recommendations will be considered. Applicants are strongly encouraged to seek recommendations from judges who represent diverse perspectives within the program, including diverse geo-regional communities.
Only Level 3 judges without any previous suspensions by the Player Investigation Committee or by the Judge Conduct Committee are eligible.
All applications will be evaluated in the second half of January and any follow up questions or interviews will happen in February.
The selected Program Coordinators will be announced in March, and their term will begin on April 1st, 2018.
